Robert “Bob” Ellsworth started Ellsworth Construction in Northeastern Oklahoma in 1974. Beginning as a paving and sealcoating company, our specialties have expanded to meet our clients’ growing needs over the years—allowing us to become a total site solution.

Over the past 45+ years in service, we’ve been obsessed with two things:

Our Executive Team

Robert “Bob” Ellsworth
Founder and Chairman

Bob founded Ellsworth Construction in 1974 as a construction worker himself — specializing in sealcoating and striping. His dedication to teamwork and quality service has helped put and keep Ellsworth on the map in the construction industry.

Nathan Ellsworth
Chief Executive Officer (CeO)

Nathan has been an active part of the Ellsworth team since 2004—helping to expand the company in exciting ways. He also holds a position on the Board of Directors of the Oklahoma-Building Chapter of the Association of General Contractors.

Jason Ellsworth
Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Practically born into the construction industry, Jason combines his on-site experience with an advanced understanding of business administration across various sectors—executing effective strategies that benefit worker and client alike.

At Ellsworth Construction, there is no such thing as corner-cutting—and our philosophy of safety exemplifies this to the highest degree. As a company obsessed with employee well-being, protecting our family of professionals is critical. Additionally, our dedication to safety extends to those directly or indirectly involved with our construction projects. Our commitment to safety has resulted in a maintained zero-accident culture.

How Do We Maintain Safety?

Training

All of our foremen have completed the advanced OSHA 30 Outreach Training Program, as outlined by the Department of Labor. OSHA 30 incorporates safety training surpassing many industry standards.

Safety Meetings

The operating protocol required of all Ellsworth Construction crews requires daily safety meetings where the day’s work precautions are carefully reviewed and verified.

Our History

Ellsworth grew out of as “Ellsworth Bros truck lines”. Levoy, Charles and John started the business in 1946. Their first big contract was hauling asphalt for the Ok State Highway Dept in 1951 which began construction on the Turner Turnpike and grew in the 50’s and 60’s transporting materials for the expansion of Tinker Air Force Base.

From there, Charles’s son, Bob branched off on his own doing more sealcoating and pavement maintenance.

In 2004, Bob’s son, Nathan joined the company and we became the full service road construction company covering total site solutions.

In 2021, Ellsworth Inc. aquired A-Tech Paving a premier infrastructure company out of Oklahoma City.

The combination of the two firms creates one of the leading civil infrastructure companies in the State of Oklahoma with the opportunity to expand into Kansas, Arkansas and northern Texas.
